Notification popups won't display icons if the icon is setted by notify_notification_set_icon_from_pixbuf() Official bug report: http://trac.galago-project.org/ticket/42 Testing procedure: Download libnotify source (apt-get source libnotify), compile and run libnotify/tests/test-image and see if all three notifications have an icon set. The third one will fail. Affected package: gaim-libnotify can't display buddy icon.
