When there are characters unsupported by
the default encoding in the outgoing message,
after the SEND is selected, a dialog is popped up offering 3 options.
(cancel/send as is/send as UTF)
For GUI consistency, hitting ESC should be interpreted as a
cancellation, yet it causes the message to be sent (most likely
with garbled characters).
