Package: man Severity: normal I have read man pages: man mandb apropos manpath .. On my system ~.manpath is not istalled and looking at istalled files of the respective packages it does not show installation of this file. I do not know if /etc/manpath should take care og this. I have run mandb with normal results. I have also tried to copy /etc/manpath.conf to ~/.manpath. Apropos still outputs:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ apropos mandb mandb: nothing appropriate You possibly know the answer. Looking forward to your reply. wkr Arnfinn Ringvold Kvavik N-4580 Lyngdal Norway -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)
