Package: mozilla-tabextensions
Version: 2.1.2006031301-4
Severity: important
With tabextension installed and set to open in new tab the links that
would be opened in new window, Firefox (actually "iceweasel") fails to
open (at least) some links.
For example, I have a page which contains the following HTML code:
<TD><FORM>
<INPUT type="button" value="Compila"
onClick="window.open('some_form.php',
'mywindow','width=900,height=600,left=0,top=10,toolbar=yes,location=yes,directories=yes,status=yes,menubar=yes,scrollbars=yes,copyhistory=yes,sizable=yes')">
</FORM></TD></TR>
when clicking on the button for the first time, a new window appears
on the screen for an instant before desappearing immediately after.
No new tab are opened and, being the new window gone, obviously there
are no way to access the page. :(
Clicking again on the button has (apparently) no effect. Closing
firefox and starting it again produces the same quick new window
"flash" once then nothing behaviour.
Needless to say, that same page used to work without problems on
Sarge (tabext. ver. 2.1.2006031301 & firefox 1.5 from backports).
