Then I installed nvidia-glx again, which said Creating NVIDIA TLS links... done. So now I have # locate nvidia | grep tls | xargs ls -la lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 2007-02-15 16:35 /usr/lib/libnvidia-tls.so.1 -> libnvidia-tls.so.1.0.8776 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3016 2007-01-05 05:37 /usr/lib/libnvidia-tls.so.1.0.8776 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3408 2007-01-05 05:37 /usr/lib/nvidia/libnvidia-tls.so.1.0.8776 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 5064 2007-01-05 05:37 /usr/lib/nvidia/tls_test -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4920 2007-01-05 05:37 /usr/lib/nvidia/tls_test_dso.so I cannot easily test the configuration right now - the machine is in heavy use (and can't be interrupted currently), and additionally I have kernel 2.6.18-4 running, while the nvidia-kernel-module is 2.6.18-3 only. Sorry. Any other thing I can test now? Regards, Phil -- Versioning your /etc, /home or even your whole installation? Try fsvs (fsvs.tigris.org)!
