Package: fetchmail Version: 6.2.5-12 Severity: important I'm running fetchmail, fetching mail by ODMR and POP, delivering by SMTP. Under some conditions, such as the ODMR server not answering (getting connection refused from the ODMR server), fetchmail just keeps creating increasingly many sockets without ever closing them, until it runs into its ulimit; then it can't create the socket for DNS lookup anymore and fills the logs with "temporary name server error", not fetching any mail anymore.
