fsck.vfat when run at startup on the FAT32 partitions on the local machine is quite slow for clean filesystems. Is there some way that fsck.vfat could be bypassed or run in a "quick" mode when doing an orderly reboot (such as to load a new kernel) but run normally at other times? -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages dosfstools depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries dosfstools recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
