Hi Erwin, About 4 years ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding $(SOSYMLINK) not expanding in gnuLib.rules in the xutils-dev package (previously in xutils). I have no idea what actual visible bug is caused by this problem, and I have no idea how to try to reproduce it. Additionally, the build system in X changed a lot since them. So, does this problem still occur/matter today? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks.
