I'm afraid you missed even the second deadline[0][1] which was for 2.4.4rel-6 and the upload was even delayed on Spanish translator's request. The 2.4.4rel-5 has already migrated into Etch and probably 2.4.4rel-6 will be the next to follow after a short while. As you can easily see[2], 2.4.4rel-6 was strictly about translation updates. I am sure you would like to have that translation in Etch, believe me, I would like it too (I am translator myself, too), but since I am not a DD I can't help you directly. What I can do is merge the translation in my darcs repo and either: 1) wait to receive at least one more translation and try to find a sponsor myself or 2) prepare the repo and make a package available for upload if you can find a sponsor. Still, I would prefer to delay as much as possible this upload with the nope there will be other translations appearing (Vietnamese is one good candidate) then upload the package and request it to be unblocked. One of the main reasons I don't want to look for another sponsor *now* is that I want to avoid wasting RM's time (by asking to unblock yet another version that is probably not the final one for Etch) and sponsor's time (which has to check the package himself), in case some other translation update will appear after your and the upload. I am really sorry. I hope you'll understand.
