My Canon EOS 400D seems to be having the full jpeg as one of the thumbnails in the .cr2 file. The .cr2 file also contains exif information. It would be nice if I extracted the thumbnail that the exif information was added to it. Would it be possible to have an option to add the exif information to the extracted thumbnail? This would save me from having to store both the raw and jpeg on the flash, since raw contains both. An other option would be to just extract the exif information and store it in a file for later reuse, like in case of pnmtojpeg's --exif option.
