hi aj,

any comment?  this bug has been open over a year without any comment,
and i'm being affected by it too.  currently my solution is to go
out-of-band and grab the version from ubuntu.

is it merely a lack of time/interest on your part, or are there other
technical reasons for not wanting to include it?
