Hmm, it seems like whatever created the problem for me has been fixed meanwhile. I can't reproduce this crash and I was using the gtk-qt engine for the last 3 months together with emacs (on a fulltime-basis). Closing. Andreas -- You have the capacity to learn from mistakes.
