Sorry, do you have an specific example? I subscribed to http://www.linux.com/index.rss and, as of this moment, I see no images of any sort, either from the feed, or fallbacks or anything. Thus, I can't really see what the report is about. Maybe you could send the URL to an entry that shows the problem. Alternatively, take a screenshot and post it here as an attachment.
