-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Package: ipw3945d Severity: normal
Hello, I have installed accidentally ipw3945d and then I purged the package. Now looking over /etc/passwd I found the user created by this package was not removed on package purge: $ grep ipw /etc/passwd Debian-ipw3945d:x:109:112::/home/Debian-ipw3945d:/bin/false Also, AFAIK, this user should be a system user (adduser -S) and the postrm scripts should take care to remove the user on purge. - -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-amd64 Locale: LANG=ro_RO.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ro_RO.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFF6e9AY8Chqv3NRNoRAlc+AJ0cMko+W+8saiZfAbg9smpf6UeqYACbBVcc UAn//3iPMePGbvOjEEIX6qA= =o76P -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
