Package: flow-tools Version: 1:0.67-8 Severity: normal
Hi, i was trying around with flow-capture, starting it as user and while dealing with my own startup scripts i found that flow-capture will overwrite the pid even when starting failes e.g. it cant bind to the mentioned udp port because a flow-capture is already running on that port. This will cause the pid file to mention a non existing pid and confuse the start-script be rewrunning flow-capture all the time. So i would whish flow-capture to write the pid file once setup of the program has succeeded down to beeing able to receive flows.
