I'm currently suffering from this bug as well, exactly as described by the original submitter. I'm using a Canon Powershot A540. I've lost two movies because I dragged and dropped a movie from my camera to my desktop and got an empty file. I installed gtkam to get my movie, worked fine. I just recorded and tried to transfer a bunch of movies, here are my findings: Files less than 11.7M will transfer, files larger than 17.8M will not. - -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.19.1suspend Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages kamera depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-6 core libraries and binaries for al ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-21 GCC support library ii libgphoto2-2 2.2.1-16 gphoto2 digital camera library ii libgphoto2-port0 2.2.1-16 gphoto2 digital camera port librar ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-21 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 kamera recommends no packages. - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFF7Spea9wihxtqwaURAiG7AJ9GIywwUNW5AW+AZqRW0O0E/6DVJgCfXCUx 9XrntNy+u94zMNsu/RgUUR0= =sQkM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
