Looking at .. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=252896 and what I recently noticed on my work laptop system .. everytime I restart famd, it binds to a random port number. Now at a certain moment it was bound to 631 which is ipp port number and crossover office tried to communicate to this port and retried after each failure.
