You seems to have very strange hardware. I found an USB disk that have the same problem as you, and I have found a way to workaround the problem. I thought it also fixes your problem. Could you please send me the output of strace -T hddtemp with the new version? It would be nice to have the two case, ie no sensor and wrong results. Bye, Aurelien -- .''`.
