I have applied the patch on spampd 2.30-16, and it runs for two weeks on
production server (200 msg per day), without problems. There might be problem
on systems which needed the 55-workaround-for-syslog-regression.dpatch,
because my patch also does some logging, and does not use the workaround.
Anyway I tried it for a short time with debugging on, and it worked fine.
I think my patch is ready for sending upstream, and if you add the syslog
workaround (if it is still needed at all) then it may be ready for release.
