This is a regression that has been annoying me for a while now. I have trouble pinpointing when the actually showed up but I just tested Firefox 2.0.0.2 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ and it doesn't exhibit the same problem. When I press "up" or "down" in a textarea, the cursor jumps to the beginning of line, even if the line above (or below) has some text in the same column. This is excruciatingly annoying. :) Is this an actual feature?
