Thanks for the patch. You add two cases (GNU/kFreeBSD and GNU) to the list of supported values of "uname". Is it fair to say that "GNU/kFreeBSD" is required to fix this bug and that you've included "GNU" speculatively for the GNU/Hurd case? If so, I'm a little uneasy about claiming that uname == GNU is linux, so I'd prefer to just add GNU/kFreeBSD for now.
