i tried on a third machine, more or less the twin of freedom (that failed -4 to -5 together with ipopd), and now it went smoot. I upgraded to 5 also the machine that gave me problem on -3 to -4 and ok. i downgraded again ... ok ... Only a difference: today i used apt-get install, the other times dselect ...
