In GdkEventKey passed to the gtk_im_context_thai_filter_keypress()
function, event->state appears to always have value 0x0010, that
is, with Mod2 set. And, by the logic of the IM, it's not normal
key press, and not processed.
The culprit seems to be 031_cursor-blinking-timeout.patch.
Try removing it and the bug is gone.
As stated in the patch comment, this is from trunk. That can
explain the difference with my jhbuild gtk-2-10 branch.
