Package: gdm
Version: 2.16.4-1

Hello, not sure it this is the correct way of asking polite for a
feature request, but..

This is pure cosmetic, not a error, or real bug, but wouldn't it be nice
if the Debian Etch gdm greeter uses circles, instead of stars, to hide
passwords? I first noticed this on some ubuntu version, and discovered
that the ubuntu gdm package uses a small patch, to change one line from
the default gdm.conf.

[greeter] <-- this is the section
UseCirclesInEntry=true <- this is the changed line

I don't know if this is against Debian policy, to change upstream
source, but, since the rest of gnome uses circles, instead of stars, it
would look more consistent and professional to also use circles in the
gdm login screen :)
