The http://packages.qa.debian.org/a/alpine.html says, "This package is no longer part of any Debian distribution." Surely that is incorrect? When is it moving into testing?

Now that page says, "Not touching package, as requested by freeze."

This is entirely normal - testing is being prepared to be released as Debian Etch (4.0). Because the package was created after Etch was frozen, it won't enter testing until Etch is released.

It seems a little silly to have a bug against this package when it's really a misunderstanding of the freeze. Is it okay if I (or you) close this bug? I'll close it a few days from now if I don't get a response.

Just email [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you want to close it yourself; otherwise, I surely can.
