Package: poppler-utils
Version: 0.4.5-5.1
Severity: normal

pdftohtml manpage and command line help suggest with this
line:
  pdftohtml [options] <PDF-file> [<html-file> <xml-file>]
that you can select the output file arbitrarily. However,
only the basename seems to be considered, e.g.:
  pdftohtml -xml file.pdf /tmp/file.xml
instead of writing to /tmp/file.xml will create (and happily overwrite)
file.xml.xml in whatever happens to be a current working directory.
