..aye, and as useless as your --debug option and your documentation,
none of these hints towards what I needed, a check for a chk 'n rm of my
stale /tmp/sylpheed-$UID lockfile.

..once you guys fix at least the docs to include my wee hint above, and
preferably add a check for stale lock files, feel free to close or
refocus this bug, I have both Sylpheed and Sylpheed-gtk1 working now.

..an 8 yr old AMD k6-2 450MHz w 384MB of ram, takes at least half an
hour to re-index or whatever it does to line up D-U for reading.

..anyway, S-2.3 is _much_ better than S-2.0.0, it sucked so bad I stayed
with S-gtk1, but S-2.3 is a-most as quick as S-gtk1 on this box and has
better utf8 support, thanks, Rccardo and Hiro.  :o)
