If you change the Exec= line in the .desktop file to contain %F or %U, that (supposedly) gives nautilus the necessary information to know that xfmedia can handle multiple filenames (and URLs for the %U case), and it will instead only fire up one xfmedia instance with a playlist of these 20 files.
