I bet they haven't. Not saving after escaping is a very rare case, considering you must save after first clearing the area. And the purpose would be... cheating the statistics? Now, the most likely situation, a user that doesn't want to save because there are valuable saved games or doesn't like waiting the process. The save dialog takes even more time if you don't want to save. The worst part, you must save; otherwise, segfault. If someone were relying on this they should have noticed this bug, shouldn't they?
