Ack. Automated guesses are always a possible source for problems, and in
this special case, the human behind the build process should know best
which number of parallel processes is useful [1]

[1]  The classic problematic case would be a CPU showing two cores due to
     HT and only little RAM, where two parallel g++ runs could easily
     trash the machine, while almost all other builds would show almost no
     improvement.
