Package: release-notes
Severity: normal

Hi release-notes maintainers,
can you please include a note in etch release notes warning users of Squid
that the new version in etch (2.6.5-6 as of now) will not support kernel 2.4.x
anymore, since epoll() support is enabled and requires kernel 2.6.

Users will have to upgrade the kernel before being able to use the new version
of squid.

Details can be read in bug 377697 and 380652.

Regards,

L
