Interesting.
We added debian-storage-policy-ignore-fixed-crypto-drives.fdi in -9
exactly for that reason: To set volume.ignore=true for local crypto
devices, like luks containers.

Could you please check, if this property is set for your device or not.
Please also attache the gzipped lshal output to this bug report.

P.S.: I'd still consider it rather a bug in pmount/gnome-vfs, but as we
set the device to ignore it shouldn't really matter anyway.
