FYI, this is fixed in upstream version 2.32. Soon-to-be-released versions of W3C Markup Validator (http://validator.w3.org/) will require version 2.32 for this fix; it'd be nice to have the Debian package updated so that it would satisfy the >= 2.32 dependency.
