Testing shows this bug is not in KDevelop but rather in Kate. To reproduce: 1/ open a file with Kate 2/ make a change, save file 3/ go to Edit -> Undo in the menu, save file 4/ go to Edit -> Redo in the menu, save file Result: The file does not get saved. Expected: The file actually gets saved to disk.
