Package: qgis Version: 0.6.0-1 Severity: wishlist Recently, I've been looking at various WMS feeds. As I normally use qgis to view my GIS data, it would be great if qgis was able to show layers fetched from a WMS server.
I've found some WMS servers on <URL:http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/WMSOverviewAll.asp>. I include the list here as examples. <URL:http://viz.globe.gov/viz-bin/wmt.cgi> <URL:http://wms.jpl.nasa.gov/gis-wms.cgi> <URL:http://demo.cubewerx.com/demo/cubeserv/cubeserv.cgi> <URL:http://wms.jpl.nasa.gov/> I would like to be able to add layers from a WMS server, and combine it with my layers fetched from my PostGIS database and my shape files. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages qgis depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libcfitsio2 2.510-1 shared library for I/O with FITS f ii libgcc1 1:3.4.3-12 GCC support library ii libgdal1 1.2.5-1 Geospatial Data Abstraction Librar ii libgeos2 2.1.1-1 Geometry engine for Geographic Inf ii libhdf4g 4.1r4-18 The Hierarchical Data Format libra ii libjasper-1.701-1 1.701.0-2 The JasPer JPEG-2000 runtime libra ii libjpeg62 6b-10 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libltdl3 1.5.6-5 A system independent dlopen wrappe ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii libpq3 7.4.7-3 PostgreSQL C client library ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.3.3-8 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.5-12 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtiff4 3.7.2-1 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libungif4g 4.1.3-2 shared library for GIF images (run ii libxerces21c102 2.1.0-5 Validating XML parser library for ii netcdfg3 3.5.0-7.1 An interface for scientific data a ii unixodbc 2.2.4-11 ODBC tools libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
