Hello, another problem is the default letter case of the refentrytitle tag in dhucpackage entity. All Caps does not make sense. Current docbook2man creates manpage filename with exactly that case. OTOH if lower case is used there then manpage name is still correctly written in upper case _and_ the filename is correctly writtin in lower case. I suggest you put lower case example there by default.
