I cannot duplicate this. what is your idle time preference set to?
"Gaim Idle"? "X Idle"?
I tried "X usage" and "Gaim usage" - with the same behaviour.
I noticed that bug on three of my machines. Maybe it depends on the account, I use one Jabber and one ICQ Account.
