Hi, It would be nice if the reporter could let us know exaclty which version of "Etch" he tried, as Etch isn't out yet and there are install images generated almost daily on cdimage.debian.org .
I installed an Etch machine yesterday using the official d-i's RC2 and I coudn't reproduce this problem. I'm using an ABNT2 keyboard as well. Also, today I dist-upgraded to sid and it's still working perfectly, both at the console and at GNOME. Regards, -- André Luís Lopes [EMAIL PROTECTED]
