Hi, This is almost certainly a problem with vte, so I'm reassigning the bug report. I have found an upstream bug, describing problems with cursor drawing, it doesn't apply exactly to what you describe, but can be related. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=424992 It would be great if you could provide screenshots, or even a short recording of the problem.
