Package: metalog Version: 0.7.0-2 Severity: normal metalog should create it's logfiles and directories with the user/group root:adm and permissions 750, like syslog does, to enable users in the adm to access the log to do analysis. pherhaps something like umask 002 in the init script in conclusion with a group sticky bit on /var/log could fix that?
