Hello Sebastian, I am glad you like the translation! Could you read the file /usr/share/doc/menu/README.translations ? What happened most likely is that you upgraded your machine under non-german locales. Try to run [EMAIL PROTECTED] update-menus as root, that should fix the problem. If that does not work, please tell me which window-manager you are using and whether LANG=de_DE would work better.
