Package: amarok Version: 1.4.4-4+b1
Amarok assumes that it has some privileged status on my system by trying to automatically handle the insertion of new media, greeting me with an annoying popup window every time "Manage Devices and Plugins". I use Amarok to play music, but I do not want to use this "feature". I do not want it imposed and forced upon me. It is annoying and close to dangerous that it does this every single time I am trying to work with some external media and this popup occurs, even though I have repeatedly selected the option "Do not handle" for all the /dev/sd* devices it tries to handle. There is no way to disable it and it is definitely a bug at this point. Features like this should be off by default and only be turned on when a user specifically enables them.
