Hi! I got 6 hangs during two days with 7167 using the same configuration as was working fine with 6629.
Then I disabled RenderAccel and backingstore, and my problem with 7167 disappeared. The X-server has been running stable for more than a week now! According to nVidia's README is RenderAccel experimental, and not regression-tested by nVidia. So I suspect that while RenderAccel was working fine with 6629 has some change to 7167 made it broken.
