I had been the submitter. Justin remembers it right. By now the
installation that shows the bug is not in use anymore, I suggest you
close the bug.

I've taken over maintenance of this package and am now working through

The problem with *this* bug is that the *original* bug was closed by
the then-maintainer, reported to be not-fixed by the submitter, and
not acted upon by the maintainer. Then I came across it, at which
point the submitter reported an inability to use mstcorefonts, in
particular, for testing the initial bug.
- Who of you is experiencing the bug?
Not me; I think I just noticed that after the changelog closed the
bug, the submitter reported that the problem wasn't fixed, and that
the maintainer didn't do anything about it.
