Hi, I'm considering to make our gpm code support both protocols, and as detection is impossible, the Debian one would then get activated by something like "export DEBIAN_GPM_BUG_WORKAROUND=1".
However, fixing this bug will be much less work than coding such an ugly work around. Would it be possible to get this bug fixed within some time? Daniël Mantione
