Package: splashy Version: 0.3.2 Followup-For: Bug #410438 Hello,
I have a similar corruption with kdm. I see a blinking magenta underscore with black background when the X server/kdm is started. This stays even after logging in to a KDE session. Switching to a terminal with ALT + F[1-4] and back to the X session removes the corruption. I have this problem on my laptop (ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 with radeon driver) and on desktop (ATI Radeon 9800SE with radeon or fglrx driver). When I cancel splashy during boot with ESC, the corruption does not occur.
