Package: tar
Version: 1.16-2
Severity: normal

With the new "stable" version of Debian, i.e., "etch" I got a version
of tar that no longer correctly handles commands of the form "tar
... --files-from <(find ...)" such as, e.g.,

,----
| $ tar cf /tmp/dummy.tar --files-from <(find /tmp)
| tar: /dev/fd/63: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
| tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
`----

I cannot rule out that the fault may be with bash or even with the way
/dev now works.
