Package: texlive-base-bin Version: 2007-5~backport.1 Severity: wishlist This wasn't so pressing with tetex-doc, but now that I have texlive-full installed, texdoc -s is hardly usable: It uses find to search all TEXMF trees for documentation. I think it should be changed to use the ls-R database instead. Either we live with the fact that it will overlook newly installed files, or we offer an option to refresh the ls-R database. I'd rather hit "n" once after it quickly found out that the pattern I searched for is not present, than wait for ages.
