It is not possible to edit an object when it is inside a group. Currently if one wants to modify an object within a group one has to first (recursively) delete all the groups the object belongs to, modify it and re-make the groups.
It would be great if we could just open a group in order to modify an object within it, and then close it without having to ungroup/regroup. Quite like with Xfig.
