currently the mt-daapd init script starts at S20. You're daemon seems to require the avahi service and we are plannig to install the avahi-daemon as regular SysV init script which will start at S24 (up until now it was started by dbus at S20). You should adapt the the start priorities of mt-daapd accordingly, e.g. starting it at S25 should suffice. Please also update existing symlinks, which will require to mv them in preinst.
